Module content | This module provides students with the foundations of research literacy in qualitative inquiry. Using real-life exemplars from educational contexts, students learn the theory and methods associated with various approaches to qualitative research, including case study research, historical research, ethnographic research, and action research. Students will gain applied competence in at least two qualitative methods, such as structured observations, semi-structured interviews, content analysis, and questionnaire design. Students are provided with the basic concepts and strategies for pursuing advanced educational research training at higher levels of study. |
